The thin and lightweight Platinum Microsoft 13″ Multi-Touch Surface Pro X features a compact design with an ARM chipset and integrated Gigabit LTE Advanced Pro connectivity (data plans sold separately). Weighing just 1.7 pounds and measuring just 0.28″ thin, the Surface Pro X features an anodized aluminum design with carbon composite fanless thermal cooling. Use the multi-position Kickstand and the Surface Pro X Signature Keyboard (sold separately) to turn the Surface Pro X into a laptop. The Surface Slim Pen (sold separately) provides up to 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity while the Surface Dial (also sold separately) allows for on-screen interactions.
The Surface Pro X features a 13″ PixelSense display with a 2880 x 1920 screen resolution (267 ppi) and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The display also supports 10-point touch, so you can take full advantage of the multi-touch gestures incorporated into Windows 10 Home. The Qualcomm-powered Microsoft SQ2 processor can perform demanding tasks. It also has Adreno 690 graphics. The Surface Pro X has 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, a 128GB SSD, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.0, a 5MP front-facing camera with Windows Hello face authentication sign-in, a 10MP rear-facing camera with 4K video recording and autofocus, and dual integrated microphones for Cortana, Microsoft’s intelligent assistant. Powered by artificial intelligence and the onboard neural engine, Eye Contact helps to adjust your gaze on video calls so you appear to be looking directly into the camera. There are also built-in stereo speakers with Dolby audio. Windows 10 Home is the installed operating system. It is important to note that applications run differently on this ARM-based Surface Pro X.
